Account Details: Select End User Layer page

This page enables you to specify which End User Layer (EUL) you want to use with the connection. Discoverer Viewer displays the specified user's default EUL.

Connection Name

This read-only field displays the name of the connection. This name is displayed on the Connections page, and is used to identify the login details stored in the connection.

Connection Description

This read-only field displays additional information about the connection. This information is displayed on the Connections page, and helps users choose a connection.

Locale

This read-only field displays the language used when opening this connection.

Database User Name

This read-only field displays the username used in the connection. For example, pchan.

Database

This read-only field displays the database name. For example, companydatabase.

Connection Type

This read-only field displays the type of data source used with this connection (e.g. Relational, OLAP).

Responsibility

This read-only field displays the responsibility of the Oracle Applications user.

Note: This field is only displayed if the name in the Database User field is an Oracle Applications user.

End User Layer

Use this drop down list to specify an End User Layer for the connection. This drop down list displays End User Layers to which the name in the Database User field has access.
