Account Details: Select Responsibility page

This page enables you to specify which Oracle Applications responsibility you want to use with the connection.

Connection Name

This read-only field displays the name of the connection. This name is displayed on the Connections page, and is used to identify the login details stored in the connection.

Connection Description

This read-only field displays additional information about the connection. This information is displayed on the Connections page, and helps users choose a connection.

Locale

This read-only field displays the language used when opening this connection.

Database User Name

This read-only field displays the username used in the connection. For example, pchan.

Database

This read-only field displays the database name. For example, companydatabase.

Connection Type

This read-only field displays the type of data source used with this connection (e.g. Relational, OLAP).

Responsibility

Use this drop down list to specify an Oracle Applications responsibility that you want to use with the connection.
