Query Progress page

Discoverer displays the Query Progress page while a query is running. During this time you can view the query progress, refresh the query or cancel it.

Note: Discoverer does not display this page with worksheets created using OLAP connections.

Query Progress Indicator

When a query is running, Discoverer displays the query progress while the query either progresses or is canceled.

• Estimated Time - The time is displayed in the format HH:MM:SS

• Elapsed Time - The time is displayed in the format HH:MM:SS

Cancel

This button cancels the query that is currently running.

Refresh

Use this button to refresh the query. This may be necessary if your browser either does not update automatically, or is configured so that it does not update automatically.

When might Discoverer display query progress?

Query progress might be displayed when:

• a query runs for more than two seconds

• running a new query

• re-running a query

• drilling

• changing page items

• changing the layout
